When everyone's asleep
Sometimes I weep
Happy tears, sad tears
Excitement or fears
Most often though
I really don't know
What I feel inside
My emotions that hide
One can be lonely
In a room full of plenty
One can be happy
With oneself as company
Every heartbeat I feel
Every emotion surreal
One feeling after another
Seem to go on forever
Who? What? When? Where?
How? Why? Either? Neither?
Questions without answers
My mind asks these matters
Exhausting myself until dreamy
And finally feeling weary
I do my very best
To lie down and rest
Tomorrow's another day...
